Deborah Brady, DVM
Deborah Brady, Commonwealth Cats’ President and Clinical Director, is a veterinarian practicing in Shelter Medicine in the Boston area. Dr. Brady graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Brady has volunteered at feral cat spay/neuter clinics in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Sheila Magesky, CVT
Sheila Magesky, Commonwealth Cats’ Vice President, Treasurer and Anesthesia Coordinator, has worked in the field of veterinary medicine for over 20 years and currently practices in a feline only veterinary hospital north of Boston. Additionally, Sheila is a part-time instructor in Veterinary Laboratory Techniques at North Shore Community College. Sheila is a graduate of Mt. Ida College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Technology as well as a degree in Animal Science from Essex Agricultural and Technical Institute. Sheila is a member of the Massachusetts Veterinary Technician Association, the National Association of Veterinary Technicians and the Massachusetts Teachers Association. She volunteers with a number of local animal rescue groups helping with foster care, adoptions and veterinary care.

Teresa Sarandrea
Teresa Sarandrea, Commonwealth Cats’ Clerk, has been involved in the animal rights movement since 1974. Teresa volunteers at spay/neuter clinics and has been active in animal rescue, adoption and the feral cat trap-neuter-return (TNR) movement for over a decade. Teresa works in an accounting firm in the Boston area and holds a Master of Management degree from Cambridge College.
